Secrets of Spain: Luxury living in Alfinach and Los Monasterios

Valencia remains a vibrant hub in Spain, making the cities and real estate that surround it quite desirable.

Located roughly 12 miles from the city of Valencia, the town of Puzol has become the center for some of the most desired residential properties situated close to the vibrant city.

In the southern part of Puzol lies a residential development called Alfinach, a gated community with private security and home to more than 500 families. The development features a large social club measuring more than 82,000 square feet that includes everything a sports-lover could want: padel, fronton and tennis courts, a 7-a-side football pitch and an outdoor swimming pool.

Near the Alfinach development is the Colegio Alfinach, a mixed private school dating to 1971. The school is nestled in nature at the border of Sierra Calderona national park. The school is run in collaboration with the British Council.

North of Puzol is the residential development of Los Monasterios. Similar to Alfinach, Los Monasterios is an exclusive community featuring around-the-clock security and a social club. And, like it’s neighbor to the south, it’s right next to a prestigious school: the American School of Valencia (formerly Colegio Hispano Americano), which opened in 1980. Also nearby is the prestigious Caxton College, which was founded in 1987 and located in the municipality of Puzol.

Both residential communities offer great advantages, particularly in terms of location and close proximity to the city of Valencia. The developments also allow for access to a range of natural settings, including Sierra Calderona as well Puzol’s beaches and sea. The marina of Pobla de Farnals is also a short distance away.

Traveling to and from Alfinach and Los Monasterios is simple thanks to the presence of motorway A-7. The train station in Puzol also offers a quick and comfortable connection to the Estación de Norte in Valencia, making broader travel options more accessible. Last but not least, the international Airport Manises is located roughly 15 miles away from both the residential developments.
