Agent
Libby Cohen
Libby Cohen is an Arizona native who grew up in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix
and attended the University of Arizona where she studied Art History and was a member
of the cheer team. Upon returning to Phoenix, Libby worked as a legal secretary
specializing in real estate law. She went on to work as a representative for Westlaw, a
division of West Publishing, where she was named regional account representative of the
year on multiple occasions. Taking several years off to raise her two daughters; instead
of returning immediately to work, she attended the Scottsdale Culinary Institute when her
children were in school. After completing the two-year program, she worked for Carolyn
Ellis at Arcadia Farms, Scottsdale’s answer to Barefoot Contessa. In 2005, Libby
chaired the Phoenix Heart Ball adding to a list of chairmanships including, the Xavier
Scholarship Luncheon, Arizona Kidney Foundation Dancing with the Stars, Southwest
Center HIV Night for Life, and the Arizona Costume Institute Holiday Luncheon.
Libby’s career in Real Estate began in 2006. Since that time, she has sold hundreds of
millions of dollars in residential real estate and continues to hone her craft. A skilled
listing agent with an acute understanding of market trends, Libby knows what it takes to
prepare a home for listing, and the importance of professional representation through the
close of escrow and beyond. Equally important to her practice is working with buyers.
She has represented professional athletes and celebrities, CEOs of Fortune 500
companies, first time home buyers, and transplants to The Valley of the Sun from all over
the country. Libby feels that being able to connect her clients to her community in a
meaningful way whether it be an introduction to schools and clubs; or simply sharing her
knowledge of hiking trails, great restaurants, or Arizona history are what make her nearly
60 years in Phoenix of value to her clients.
An avid runner, gardener, cook, and volunteer, Libby enjoys everything about the casual,
welcoming Arizona lifestyle. She is a Master Gardener and a volunteer in the school
garden program at Maryland Elementary School.
