Billionaire Jeff Bezos has purchased a massive waterfront estate in Indian Creek Village, a man-made barrier community located just outside of Miami. The Amazon founder paid $79 million for the seven-bedroom mansion, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

The newly acquired property is not the first in Indian Creek for Bezos. Earlier this year, the famous billionaire purchased the estate next door for $68 million, allowing for a combined 4.6 acres of continuous waterfront land.

Completed in 2000, the bayside home at 12 Indian Creek Island Road sits on the western end of Indian Creek with views of Biscayne Bay and the Indian Creek Country Club golf course. The elegant, European-style mansion offers grand living spaces with high ceilings, marble floors and lavish finishes and fixtures, making for a traditionally opulent palace in one of the most exclusive communities in the country. Highlights include a wine cellar, hosting salon and fireplace room, as well as a movie theater, heated swimming pool and cabana house.
