Without a doubt, no housing markets feel more of a pull than those on the coast. From fair weather to fresh breezes to breathtaking views, coastal properties continue to be some of the most sought after, particularly in western hotspots such as Southern California and Hawaii. In this week’s real estate price comparison, I took a look at how much about $14 million would buy in three coastal markets tied to the Pacific.

From a Polynesian-inspired home in Kauai to a Mediterranean-style spread in Beverly Hills, here’s a closer look:

Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California
