Lynsey’s position at Bennett Property Shop Realty demands extraordinary responsibility and flexibility. As owner Marnie Bennett’s right hand, Lynsey manages the day-to-day operations of the Brokerage as well as overseeing all advertising, marketing and social media. Her broad-based education and skill set has been a tremendous asset to the company, as she can step into any role at a moments notice, and assist wherever needed.
In addition to years of experience at the family firm, Lynsey’s interesting and varied background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Carleton University (where she played Varsity Soccer and was Team Captain) and a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Algonquin College. Prior to joining Bennett Property Shop, Lynsey held the title of Miss Canada 2003; in this capacity, she travelled the world representing our country and worked in support of numerous charities. She has also held challenging marketing positions with the Mayor’s Office and sports organizations including the Ottawa Renegades (now Redblacks) and Ottawa 67’s.
Fluently bilingual and skilled in computer technology, Lynsey has developed a number of new systems to increase head office efficiency. On a day-to-day basis, she oversees all social media marketing, manages the CRM system, manages administration between the sales staff, marketing professionals, and clients, to ensure accurate and timely transfers of information. Lynsey’s organizational skills have gone a long way to streamline the sales process – no small feat in the constantly humming and ever-evolving environment of Ottawa’s premier boutique real estate firm.
