Prior to entering the real estate world, Michelle was in the luxury wedding planning business for almost 20 years, planning weddings in the Hamptons, New York City, and across the Midwest. She continues to create the most epic weddings in Palm Beach as the owner of Meraki Wood Events. She loves being a part of people’s biggest life moments, and transitioning into the luxury real estate market was a natural step to take. Luxury is an experience; it’s how someone makes others feel and the level of service they deliver. Michelle knew that when she decided to become a real estate agent, she wanted to be different by providing her clients with the most personalized and elevated experience possible, leading to a seamless transaction.
Michelle recognizes that no two transactions are alike, and she doesn’t approach anything as “cookie-cutter.” Having years of experience handling emotionally charged situations, she calmly negotiates both the best- and worst-case scenarios to provide her clients with the information they need to feel comfortable in making the best decision for them.
No stranger to moving, Michelle understands the complexity of relocating to a new area. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to New York, where she went to college at Long Island University studying Public Relations. She lived in various cities on Long Island for many years before she decided to ditch the snow for sunshine and move her family to South Florida, where they have enjoyed living for the past 8 years.
First, settling in Boca Raton where she enjoyed all the amenities of a country club lifestyle in Woodfield Country Club, before finding her little slice of paradise in the equestrian community of Caloosa in Palm Beach Gardens where her family now resides.
As a devoted wife and mom of two children (in between helping to make her clients’ dreams come true), you’ll find Michelle at home at her “mini farm” gardening with her husband, tending to their backyard chickens, or out at the soccer fields cheering on her son, and in the stands at her daughter’s cheer and dance competitions. When she does find the time, she also enjoys running and has completed both half and full marathons.
