Leigha Diesel in New Jersey

Leigha brings a highly-motivated attitude to her sales associate position; she believes in transparency and forming honest connections and relationships with her clients. Leigha’s background in the fashion industry, and her ability to quickly assess her clients’ needs, created a solid foundation for a career in real estate.

Before joining Turpin, Leigha was a designer for various fashion houses and worked for a Fortune 500 company, where her designs were sold to top retailers. Additionally, Leigha has experience working in the luxury retail market and with private customers. She has a BFA in Fashion Apparel Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology.

Leigha’s interest in residential housing comes from her love of architecture and design. “I’m always curious about the changing demands and trends in the real estate market,” she says. “It’s fascinating for me to see what kind of home appeals to different people; each home truly has its own personality. I enjoy finding the perfect fit for homebuyers, and I get a great deal of satisfaction from knowing that I made the process a little easier during what can often be a stressful time.”

Leigha is a member of the New Jersey Young Professionals and The Underfashion Club. She enjoys visiting art galleries in Manhattan as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her design work for Michelin-rated restaurants in Manhattan sparked an interest in the food and wine industry, as well as a passion for exploring new cultures. A huge animal lover, she has volunteered at several shelters. She also has a longstanding background in dance, as she continues to take classes in New York City and participates in local yoga and barre classes.

A Bernards Township native, Leigha grew up in Basking Ridge and currently lives there. She has also resided in New York City, Hoboken and outside of Nashville. Having made the transition from metropolitan living to life in the Somerset Hills herself, Leigha can offer excellent advice about commuting options to Manhattan as well as the many lifestyle benefits offered in the area such as outstanding schools, fine dining, world class shopping, lively cultural events, scenic parkland and prime outdoor recreation. “For buyers and sellers looking to move to this part of New Jersey, I understand the complex factors that go into making that decision since I’ve done it myself.
