Heidi Vanderhoop in Martha's Vineyard

Heidi Vanderhoop is a native of Martha’s Vineyard and has been working in the real estate industry since 2015.

As a member of the Wampanoag Tribe, she has deep roots in the island and the community. Before starting her real estate career, Heidi served as the Education Director for the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) and then worked in accounting at the Aquinnah Town Offices. Heidi has a strong commitment to community service, having volunteered on the Aquinnah Board of Library Trustees and served as the Aquinnah Town Constable for over a decade.

Currently, she is a member of the Aquinnah Planning Board and serves on the board of directors for Sassafras Earth Education, a non-profit organization dedicated to reconnecting youth and adults to the earth through indigenous mentoring. Heidi also plays an important role in advertising at Tea Lane bringing both her organization and creativity to our marketing.

Her clients appreciate her extensive knowledge of the land and history of Martha’s Vineyard, her insights on zoning, and her ability to work through complex negotiations.
