Gwendolyn “Wendy” Barisonek

With deep local ties and a highly-organized work style, Wendy brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her sales associate position. Before joining the Chatham Office, she was a leading executive for some of New York's top public relations firms, developing and executing award-winning campaigns and programs for a range of clients. She brings that same drive and motivation to her real estate career.

Born and raised in Morris County, Wendy lives in the New Vernon section of Harding Township. She graduated from Georgetown University where she studied English and psychology.

The decision to join Turpin was an easy one for Wendy, who said she can't imagine practicing real estate anywhere else. “I have a number of friends and family members who have been a part of the Turpin Real Estate family for years. Having bought and sold my own homes with Turpin, I greatly respect and appreciate the professionalism and market leadership for which Turpin is renowned. But more importantly, I admire the culture of personal integrity and quality of character,” she said.

Having spent her formative years in the area and now raising her own family here, Wendy can provide detailed, first-hand knowledge of many towns in Morris, Union and Somerset Counties including information on neighborhoods, schools, businesses, activities, recreation, entertainment and countless other amenities.

Close ties to her community are evident in Wendy's dedication to volunteer and non-profit groups. Wendy was involved with the Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center as a Member and former Co-Chair of the “Garden State of Mind Weekend” which raised more than $100,000 for the Women's Cancer Center, as well as a Member of The Harding Twig which supports the Goryeb Children's Hospital. She serves as a Class Ambassador and Alumni Volunteer for Georgetown University. Wendy is also an active member and volunteer with Church of Christ the King in New Vernon.
