Born and raised in the Sacramento area, Candace Samrai first built her real estate presence working for the top brokerage in Huntington Beach and the number one team in West LA. She later lived and worked in Austin, Texas, before returning to her roots.

Now back home and raising a young family with her husband, she brings her personability, attention to detail and master negotiation skills to sellers and buyers in the greater El Dorado Hills market.

In every encounter with clients, Candace Samrai shares her expertise with real estate finance, inspections, investments and remodeling. Her appreciation for each client’s unique situation and best interests has grown from experience in real estate across both California and in Texas.

“I absolutely love what I do, especially connecting with people and learning all about them,” she says. “Every person and every home has a story.”

Candace cares about the ‘why’ behind each person’s needs and what they’re looking for in a home sale or purchase. That natural curiosity was a great fit for her first step in real estate as a lender with a Southern California mortgage company, where she helped people find the best home finance solutions for their particular situations.

“When I started in mortgages, real estate agents and brokers kept asking if I’d ever considered real estate,” she says with a humble laugh. “They said I have a vibe about me, but I was wary, because real estate in LA is notoriously cutthroat.”

When she first made the leap, Candace did so not as a producing agent but as the assistant to the top-selling broker in Orange County.

Before long, she began outselling her abilities as an assistant. Her broker hired more internal support and moved Candace into a full-time sales role contributing to the team. Thereafter, she joined the number-one selling team in West LA.

Soon, she was harnessing her natural abilities with relationship building and negotiations alongside her interest in home remodeling and her nose for inspections and home repairs. Having overseen her own home remodel and worked closely with clients on investment properties, she provides experience and insight to clients who are selling or buying investment properties.

Now happily back in Greater Sacramento, Candace and her husband are excited to raise their baby in a family-focused region with excellent neighborhoods, schools and way of life. She is eager to meet more new and longtime residents who are making the same journey that she and her family are as they resettle here.

In addition to family and passion for real estate, Candace loves fitness, the outdoors, hiking, cycling, time on the water and international travel.
