April Lockey in La Jolla, CA

April was born and raised in Paris Texas and moved to Dallas Texas in 1989 to continue studies at The University of Dallas, a private Catholic University, and Southern Methodist University.

After college, she became a Retail Buyer at a Renowned luxury specialty store, Stanley Korshak.

As a young professional working for Nelda Cain Pickens, a Dallas Broker, she began her lifelong interest in all aspects of real estate.

April along with her husband and children relocated to La Jolla in 2005.

April immersed herself into her new community by becoming a member of the Parent Advisory Board of La Jolla Presbyterian Preschool, Board Member and Executive Officer as Treasurer of St. Germaine Children’s Charity, The Gillispie School Gala Committee, Bird Rock Elementary PTA Treasurer, Bridgepoint Elementary-Austin PTA Treasurer and most recent La Jolla Youth Baseball Board Member and Co-Chair of the LJYB Annual Golf Tournament at La Jolla Country Club.

In 2015 April and her husband joined a group of investors and purchased 36 Multi-Family Units throughout San Diego as well as a Retail Center in Pacific Beach. April played a managing role in the repositioning, construction, and leasing of all properties and continues in the Property Management role.

Her career transition to Willis Allen Real Estate was natural and leverages her strengths in helping people during times of change.
