“This home is a true California dream,” says listing agent Parmis Pourarian of Guide Real Estate. “It’s an entertainer’s paradise with what is believed to be California’s largest residential pool.”

The homeowners were inspired by the Grand Hyatt Resort in Hawaii to add the pool, which was designed by Lance Irby and built by Brandon Snyder at Premier Pools.

A vineyard-lined driveway leads through the seven-acre property to the nearly 11,000-square-foot contemporary – a showplace itself built in 2020.

An extra-tall door opens to the foyer and a circular seating area set under a backlit multi-tiered tray ceiling and round chandelier. The open-plan living space has a glass-enclosed wine display wall on one side and a formal dining area with a two-sided fireplace and a rounded bank of windows on the other. Disappearing doors access a lanai with a large outdoor living space and a barbecue.

Beyond the dining room is the open concept kitchen and family room, which also opens to the lanai. Double islands provide prep and eat-at space. A hidden catering kitchen sits behind the primary kitchen. High ceilings continue throughout.

Two staircases and an elevator lead down to the game room, which has a wet bar, a media center and access to the upper pool deck.

Between the house and the guest cottage, which has a kitchenette and laundry, there are seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Home theatre and a six-car garage are among other features.

The gated property is at 4869 Cavitt Ranch, Granite Bay, California.
