Périgord Blanc, an estate based around a chateau and its outbuildings, comprising an exceptional garden in the art of topiary on 18 hectares enclosed by a fence, part of which is undergrowth, and 11 hectares devoted to magnificent flowerbeds open to the public: 80,000 boxwoods, 1,600 rosebushes, 1,300 hornbeams, 150 cypresses, a truffle field of 72 holm-oaks and some fifty different motifs from the drawings made by the owner.

These gardens are the culmination of a lifetime of dedication by the owner and have recently been opened to the public. There are many species to be found along a path of more than 2 km: box hedges, rose gardens and various patterns.

The first floor is spacious with a central corridor leading to the 7 bedrooms with their shower rooms on either side, which would need to be refurbished and brought up to standard. The roofs were redone in 2010.

The 210 sqm outbuildings have been completely renovated and are used to receive the public who come to visit the gardens. A 90 sqm shop with a reception area offers various items for sale. Finally, a 120 sqm flat adjoins the property and can be used as a caretaker’s quarters.

A vast new 400 sqm shed/workshop houses all the equipment necessary for the maintenance of the gardens.
