Boulder Loft with Artistic Industrial Edge
Boulder , Colorado, 80302, United States
Built in 1901 Seven Hundred Pearl has been through a few reincarnations.
Embrace the enchantment of timeless western history with this impeccably designed residence, where every detail pays homage to the storied past of the building and Boulder. Recycled belt walls, artfully adorned with bullet and shotgun shell accents, buffalo nickels, and Edison bulb light fixtures converge to form an awe-inspiring masterpiece. Originally the Racket Grocery store which served the Boulder mining community for 30 years, the industrial style building was designed with high ceilings and store front windows facing on to Pearl street.
In 2017 Celebrity Designer Kari Whitman of Kari Whitman Interiors and the current owners reimagined the space. The interior design was captured on the cover of several national and local publications, including Colorado Homes and Gardens and Modern in Denver. The design of the residence, pays homage to the history of the building, where no drywall was used in the home, showcasing the original brick structure. The interior was completely stripped down to the studs and recreated using 80% repurposed or recycled materials.
Beyond its rockstar ambiance, this sanctuary offers unmatched convenience. A mere five-minute stroll westward will lead you to the Trailhead, inviting you to immerse yourself in nature’s embrace. Conversely, venture five minutes eastward to find yourself amidst the vibrant heartbeat of Pearl Street Mall, a hub of cultural experiences and boutique delights. Adjacent to the residence lies the cherished Spruce Confection, a beloved local coffee house, ensuring that all your daily necessities are met right at your doorstep.
Practicality meets luxury as the dwelling boasts two convenient garage parking spaces, and its prime location on West Pearl makes it a dream haven for those who relish the downtown Boulder lifestyle.
