Susan began her real estate career in 2001, when her youngest child left for college. Born and raised in Madison, she taught elementary school there for ten years after graduating from Marywood University with a degree in education. She now lives in Chatham with her husband Bill, also a Turpin agent, where they raised their two children. Possessing a lifelong knowledge of the area, Susan can share first hand information about schools, housing, neighborhoods and more.

With a reputation for being helpful and available, Susan demonstrates a high level of professionalism, while being an enthusiastic partner with her buyers and sellers. Communication is key to any real estate transaction and Susan prides herself on keeping her clients well informed. “The ability to listen to and meet the needs of my clients is a trait I am most proud of” she says.

Giving back to her community is something Susan feels strongly about. She is a member of the Thursday Morning Club of Madison and serves on the board of the Friends of the Library of the Chathams. Susan held leadership roles in the American Association of University Women's Madison branch and was a trustee for the Chatham, Madison and Florham Park Adult School.

When her children were younger, Susan was active with their school's PTOs, serving as president of the Middle and High School boards and she sat on the Superintendent's Council. She was also involved as a den mother with Pack 8 Cub Scouts and as a leader with the Chatham Girl Scouts.

Susan enjoys gardening, reading and traveling to visit her two grown children. One of her favorite vacation destinations is the island of Bermuda.

Susan's warm and caring demeanor has earned her a wonderful reputation with her clients. Her professional philosophy is right in keeping with Turpin's dedication to buyers and sellers. She looks forward to hearing from you at the Chatham office. She welcomes your email, visit or call.
