Steve Hilbert

Steve grew up in Colorado Springs, CO. He played football for and graduated from the University of Notre Dame and then served in the Peace Corps in Honduras. He has been licensed as a real estate broker with TREC since 1983, when this former captain of the Notre Dame ski team brought his teammates to Telluride for training and made the decision to move to town. Steve’s family includes wife Kristine, three children, Samantha (Charlie), Steve, and Christian, and two grandsons, Henry and Walker. Steve currently serves on Aldasoro Ranch DRB, and has served on Ski Ranches HOA board, with one term as President, Mountain Village Town Council, Mountain Village Design Review Board, and is a Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club past president. An active pilot and airplane owner, Steve enjoys sharing his passion for the skies by flying Angel Flight Missions for people with medical transportation needs. Steve is a skier, motorcyclist, mountain biker and all-around outdoor enthusiast. He especially enjoys participating in the annual dirt bike ride through the Rockies to commemorate friend and late Mountain Village Mayor, Andy Hanley. Steve is partnered with his oldest son Stevie in their extremely client focused Real Estate practice.
