Sean F Ginella

A Realtor-Broker and successful entrepreneur with more than $100 million in career real estate sales. He brings more than 35 years of sales and marketing experience and a B.A. in International Relations and Business from Chaminade University in Honolulu to his practice. Sean joined the team at Hawaii Life when his boutique North Shore Oahu firm, Hawaii Realty Professionals, was acquired in 2017.

Sean’s real estate career is focused on agricultural land restoration. He oversees sales, marketing, and development of ag land projects, including Marconi Land Oceanfront in Kahuku, and Mokuleia Oceanfront Agricultural Lots. He is considered an ag lands specialist and has closed dozens of land sales transactions on Oahu’s North Shore.

From 2003 to 2009, he owned North Shore Land and Farming, where he developed relationships with land planners, attorneys, and government officials who have been critical to his success in Ag land developement and restoration. He currently owns and operates Kaukonahua Ho’ola LLC, a company that has been responsible for sales of over 2,600 acres.

Sean also specializes in oceanfront luxury property marketing and sales and has successfully marketed and sold some of the North Shore’s most prized beachfront properties. His current listings include more than $30 million in prime beachfront property and agriculture land from Mokuleia to Turtle Bay.

Sean made his home in the Diamond Head and Kahala areas in the ’70s and ’80s. His connection to those communities led to his recent involvement in the sales and marketing of the six A&B Kawamoto oceanfront properties on Kahala Avenue. Collectively, these rare, oceanfront lots were listed and sold for just under $60 million.

Sean Ginella’s grandfather, James Ginella, came to Hawaii to help build the dry docks at Pearl Harbor in the 1930s. Sean settled down to raise his own family on the North Shore of Oahu 30 years ago, and he is an active member of the North Shore community and a former professional longboard surfer.

He served as the Chairman of the North Shore Regional Board of Realtors Group. He supports Jack and Kim Johnson’s Kokua Foundation, The North Shore Community Land Trust, the Sunset Beach PTA, AYSO, The North Shore Chamber of Commerce, and the Hawaii Islands Land Trust. He is a former volunteer Board Member of the North Shore’s Camp Erdman YMCA.
