In high school, Rico’s family moved to the best house in Sacramento.
“After my family immigrated from Mexico, we spent years in a two-bedroom apartment with thirteen people,” Rico explains. “When we moved to a modest house, I thought it was a palace! I felt like a king and bragged to my friends at school.”
The move made him believe he was capable of more. This changed the trajectory of his life. Rico began a 15-year career with Old Republic Home Protection climbing up the ladder quickly as a top producing sales representative with over 300 transactions per month.
“The pride my parents had in our home and our ability to move up made me believe I was capable of doing great things,” he says. “This is my passion for my clients. I want to help families realize their full potential.”
Today, Rico specializes in relocation for clients moving from the Bay Area to the Greater Sacramento Valley. “Making the right move for your family or business can have generational impact, both on your finances and on your belief in yourself,” he says. “Having an expert in your corner who has experienced the difference a move can make will make all the difference for you.”
Rico is President of The National Hispanic Organization of Real Estate Associates (NHORA) and has previously served as President of the Greater Sacramento National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NHAREP). He was one of the pioneers of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) with now over 300 chapters nationwide.
