As a Vero Beach native, Marni Howder has a lifetime of knowledge and personal understanding of Vero Beach and surrounding areas. She comes from a family with a well-known history and background in the local market and all things real estate. Her mother, Barbara Parent, has over 48 years of success as a local Broker/Realtor. Her father, Richard Parent, and both grandfathers, Will Parent and George Frederick, were prominent builders in the community. With her 19 years of experience as a Vice President in the residential mortgage field, Marni brings a unique knowledge that can help navigate through the residential lending market.
A brain cancer survivor, Marni has a special calling and passion to give back and help other cancer patients through their journey whenever she can. She is an active member on the Patient Advisory Board of the Scully-Welsh Cancer Center, a member of Friends After Diagnosis, and a past board member of the American Cancer Society of Indian River and the Samaritan Center for Homeless Families. She is currently on the board of the Exchange Club of Indian River and a member with both the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and the Realtors Association of Indian River County. Marni was also the honoree for The American Cancer Society’s 2023 Hope Gala. Being an 8 year cancer survivor, this cause is near and dear to her heart.
In her free time, Marni enjoys traveling with her husband, Todd, looking for shells and sea glass at one of the areas beautiful beaches, gardening, walking the park at Memorial Island, and spending time with her family and friends.
Having grown up in the business, Marni is looking forward to the next chapter in her career and working in real estate with her mother, Barbara Parent, and niece Gracie Martin and bringing a unique and well-rounded knowledge to The Vero Team. Together they love Vero Beach and feel it is one of the most beautiful and special places you can ever live. They are excited about the future and combining their talents to help clients with all their real estate needs.
