A real estate professional specializing in Morris and Somerset Counties, Katie began her award-winning career in 2003. She possesses a strong working knowledge of New Jersey's real estate standards and is also experienced in cutting-edge real estate technology and computer programs. Known as an expert negotiator who provides friendly, accommodating service, she always keeps the interest of her clients in the forefront.

Inquisitive by nature, Katie finds that the more she knows about her clients' needs and concerns, the better their working relationship will be. She says, “My ability to read each individual and each individual situation in the transaction is an advantage that often gets the best results for my client.” Her ability to guide a transaction and keep it moving along as smoothly as possible is a trait her buyers and sellers have come to rely upon.

Katie earned the Certified Negotiation Expert designation from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute, an achievement that speaks volumes about her ability to negotiate effectively as she helps her clients achieve their goals. She knows the importance of continuing her real estate education, and has attended workshops to hone her already impressive skills. Katie graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a business degree in marketing.

Katie and her husband are longtime residents of Boonton Township. Originally from Holland, Katie moved to Morris Township as a child and attended public schools as well as Morristown Beard and Villa Walsh Academy. Katie is very familiar with real estate in Morris and Somerset Counties. She has been recognized with awards for her high production levels and outstanding sales record. Katie's decision to join Turpin was based on her interactions with sales agents and managers over the years.

Meeting new people is one of the best aspects of Katie's job. When it comes to her buyers, she enjoys the challenge of finding the right property that meets their requirements; for sellers she is an expert at preparing their home for the market and showing off a property's best features. “I love showing homes and I love negotiating contracts,” Katie says.

Giving back to the community is important to Katie, who has been involved in Home and School Associations over the years as well as local fundraising functions. As residents of Boonton Township, her four children have attended Mountain lakes High School. In Katie's free time she enjoys skiing, biking, walking, exercise, visiting the Jersey Shore and Hilton Head Island, traveling in the United States and abroad, as well as going to New York City to visit museums, theatres and restaurants. She loves dogs and horses and has three poodles.
