Josh Waldrop

Waldrop learned the importance of time management and discipline at a very young age. After his family realized that he had a passion and talent for swimming, he joined his first swim team at 6 years of age. He then swam for Bolles as well as Episcopal while in middle school and high school before attending the University of Kentucky on a full scholarship. Throughout college, Waldrop worked for a property management company handling leases, apartment inspections, and property maintenance. After graduation, he was hired by Florida Fish and Wildlife and then worked in the distribution business for the next 13 years. In 2016, Waldrop decided to fulfill his passion of real estate.

“I’m really excited to further my career in real estate,” Waldrop said. “I love helping people, and I enjoy getting to know each family, their hobbies and interests, their needs and wish lists, and then matching them up with the perfect property.”

Becoming a member of the DSRE team was an easy choice for Waldrop. “I wanted to be with a company that provides unique and innovative marketing tools, a progressive training and educational program and the internal support necessary for success. DSRE has all that and more. I’m really excited to be joining the number one real estate company in Vero Beach.”

Waldrop and his wife have a young son and he likes the flexibility that a career in real estate gives him. “I really wanted a career that would allow me to use my previous experience in the property management business. But I also wanted to be flexible in order to spend more time with my family. Real estate gives me that flexibility.” Waldrop volunteers at St. Edwards School and at many charity events throughout the community, including the Festival of Trees and Relay for Life. He also enjoys boating, fishing, playing tennis, and other sports.
