Janice Ciampa-Bauer

After travelling throughout Africa, India, the Middle East, Europe, and Central America for 5 years, Janice Ciampa-Bauer, a native of Boston, arrived in Vail in 1976 to visit a friend, and never left. Watching a sleepy ski town grow to its present stature, she was one of the early Real Estate pioneers in the area, actively selling Real Estate since 1978.

A Linguist with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maine and the L’Universite Aix-Marseilles, France, Janice s ability to adapt to different cultures and to converse easily in French or Spanish, has made it easy for her to work with foreign as well as American clientele.

Throughout her long Vail Real Estate career, Janice has achieved many honors and consistently ranks among the top producers within the Slifer team as well as at the top of the entire Vail Board of Realtors 700+ brokers, averaging $20 million in annual sales.

Believing continued self improvement is the key to professional success, she regularly attends Real Estate conferences and continuing education classes. She is a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), a CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) and a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS).

Although she enjoys a wealth of repeat business and customer referrals, Janice has developed her niche as one of Vail’s top producing Brokers -having sold a quarter billion dollars of Real Estate in the last dozen or so years.
