Ellie Manzi

I was born and raised in New York City. Attending local New York area Universities, I achieved a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education. This past field of study, serves me well, to ‘teach’ my clients about the real estate market, allowing them to make intelligent choices.

Moving to Vail, in July of 1972, I originally worked in the condominium and hotel industry. I was also a ski instructor for Vail Resorts, for 16 winter seasons on Vail Mountain. A sojourn for 2 winters (Vail summers), in 1976 and 1977, to Bariloche, Argentina, to teach skiing, added to my wealth of skiing experiences. Also, it provided, a good knowledge of the Spanish language, at the time. Although no longer ‘on the hill’ teaching, I continue to maintain friendships and numerous clients, from my many years, in the ski industry.

Obtaining a Colorado Real Estate License, in 1975, I bring an abundance of expertise to my real estate career. A combination of energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and being so familiar with Vail and all of its life style benefits, gives my clients confidence, in choosing me, as their Real Estate Broker.

Guiding clients through the process of listing and selling real estate, can certainly be an intricate task. My abilities and easy going style, make it easy for people to reach a successful sale or purchase, of a property and an exciting closing, as well. A key to my success, is due to extensive professional education, that I pride myself with, over the many years I have worked, in the industry. I always enjoy seeking new ways to gain value, for my real estate clients. I maintain frequent attendance at networking events and conferences, take an array of real estate courses, that address all aspects of our business, and update myself with new technology. All of these activities, provide a myriad of ways, to heighten my customer service. I search for Innovative ideas amd maintain a ‘lifelong learner’ philosophy, to enhance my professional life, every step of the way.

I am an active participant, in notable real estate organizations, such as the Residential Real Estate Council, Certified International Property Specialists, Luxury Portfolio and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. Also, I am a member of FIABCI, the International Brokers Federation, headquartered in Manhattan and Paris, France. Additionally, I have joined AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America), another networking benefit I can bring to my local, U.S nationwide and International clientele. All of these memberships, are a vital part of my career, and offer me more resources, to do my absolute best, for my real estate family of clients.

From a personal standpoint, I love to play golf, travel, read, take photographs, keep a practice of staying fit with exercise, good nutrition and enjoy spending quality time, with my family and friends.

The Literacy Project is an organization I have done volunteer work for ,in the past, and it is my favorite local program to support. Other community volunteer contributions extend to my primary residence, in the Sandstone area, of Vail, where I have served on the Board of Directors, of our condominium association. In Arrowhead, the western gateway to Beaver Creek Mountain, located in Edwards, CO, I have served, in the past, as President of our Board of Directors, where I own rental property, in the Aspenwood Lodge. I have also expanded my real estate ownership, with a condominium, in Denver, where I enjoy the finest aspects, of city living.

Creating new friendships, finding the ‘perfect’ mountain retreat for buyers and obtaining just the ‘right’ buyer for sellers, make my career, in real estate, all worthwhile. Sharing a wonderful resort lifestyle, with families, from all walks of life and many different geographic locations, make it a privilege, to provide exceptional customer service, that I consider a top priority, in my career.

In line, with this philosophy, I was honored to receive my company’s prestigious, Customer Service Award in 2008, and the Humanitarian Award, in 2014. These are testimonies, to the first-class consideration, I can offer, to all the many clients I work with, here in the Vail area.
