Originally drawn to the Roaring Fork Valley for its scenic beauty and creative opportunities, Chris began a decades-long journey of building connections and businesses that resonate with the community. Starting in the restaurant industry under the mentorship of Mike Mercatoris at Zheng Asian Bistro, Chris helped develop systems that turned the restaurant into a locals’ favorite. This entrepreneurial drive continued with the evolution of Grind, growing it from a 22-seat eatery to a thriving downtown destination grossing over a million dollars annually. Beyond food and beverage, Chris has also co-founded White Lodge Tattoo in Glenwood Springs and has helped launch Medley on Main, a fitness studio in downtown New Castle.
Inspired by the business side of real estate after years as a tenant, Chris now focuses on helping entrepreneurs navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of commercial spaces. Chris’s ability to evaluate business plans, organize strategies, and craft feasible paths forward is a hallmark of their approach. When not helping clients, Chris is an avid supporter of local music, playing guitar in a western band and teaching lessons to aspiring musicians. With a custom-built van ready for camping adventures and two beloved dogs always at the ready, Chris embraces the active lifestyle the valley offers. He’s also passionate about revitalizing downtown New Castle, aiming to create spaces that reflect the heart and soul of the community.
