Hi, I am Caryn. As a native from Cape Town, South Africa my husband and I were presented with the opportunity of a lifetime to move to the United States. Our first “port of call” was Silver Spring and we instantly fell in love and planted roots. Silver Spring is an eclectic, vibrant community that attracts people from around the country and the world. It has a mix of history and modernity and has gone through a significant renaissance in2004. Silver Spring takes its name from a mica-flecked spring discovered there in 1840 by Francis Preston Blair, who subsequently bought much of the surrounding land. Acorn Park, south of downtown, is believed to be the site of the original spring. When not assisting clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young boys working and playing in our wonderful Silver Spring neighborhood and throughout all of Montgomery County and Washington DC. Having lived and worked internationally and locally I may be biased, but I love the Silver Spring area. I love helping people find exactly the house that gives them the ‘vibe’ they are searching for. This matters. It is a privilege to be trusted to serve you while navigating this life-impacting decision. Making the process of selling and/or buying a homeless stressful for my clients is my biggest goal. I’ve built my business on thorough communication, trust, dedication, and determination.
