Having lived on New York’s Upper East Side for more than 40 years, Carol skillfully combines her vast knowledge of the city with her well-honed organizational and communication skills. She has represented various sellers at marquee addresses along Park and Fifth Avenues and is known for her expertise in the most exclusive co-ops. In addition to having a proven track record along the Upper East Side, Carol has helped clients throughout the city find or sell their homes.
Utilizing her vast network of friends and connections, Carol continues to stay one step ahead of market trends and industry information. With the majority of her business coming from direct referrals, she prides herself in all dealings with clients, customers and colleagues. Carol strives to ensure that her clients’ trust and loyalty comes first in all transactions, and that her perseverance brings all transactions to fruition.
A former Trustee of the Dalton School having run their Theater Benefit for over six years and working in their Development office; Carol also served on the Council of Tufts University; as an Overseer at Brown University; and is currently on the Council at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Carol is also very involved in fund raising for Park East Synagogue and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she has a special interest in melanoma research. Carol’s other passions include jogging, playing golf, theater and travel.
Before joining Warburg, Carol and her late husband Mark owned and operated a women’s private label apparel company for more than a decade. Through this business background, Carol deeply understands the importance of working diligently with her clients and on the exclusive properties she represents. Family is very important to Carol and she is fortunate to have two daughters – Judy Kloner, a Warburg agent, and Amy Verschleiser. She also has seven grandchildren, all of whom live on the Upper East Side.
