Amelia Whitman

A Maryland native, Amelia grew up on the shores of the West River, attending sailing school at West River Sailing Club and exploring the river on a 13 foot Whaler. She was home schooled during high school and then went on to attend Anne Arundel Community College and Johns Hopkins University. Amelia graduated from JHU with a double major in International Relations & Creative Writing and was on the Womens Crew Team. An avid traveler, Amelia visited and explored South America, Africa and Europe during and after college. Today Amelia lives in Edgewater, Maryland. She is a member of West River Sailing Club in Galesville and competes in the Wednesday Night Sail Boat Races as crew on her mothers Tartan 27. As a millennial, Amelia is all about social media.
